Stephen and Ayesha Curry on Sunday announced their fourth child was born earlier this month, and shared the baby boy’s name.
Caius Chai Curry was born on Saturday, May 11, according to a joint Instagram post shared by the actress and the Golden State Warriors point guard.
“Our sweet baby boy decided to make an early arrival!! He’s doing great and we are finally settling in at home as a family of 6! So grateful,” they wrote alongside a photo of the baby’s hand being held.
The new baby breaks a streak of July births for all of their older children. The couple share Riley Elizabeth Curry, 11, Ryan Carson Curry, 8, and Canon W. Jack Curry, 5.
During an appearance on Today in March, Ayesha Curry said she knew she wanted another child because she felt like “someone was missing.”
“I’d be loading up the car, or setting the dinner table, and I’d be like, ‘I feel like we shouldn’t call it at three.’ And he was like, ‘Music to my ears,’” she said.
“He would want ten kids,” she said of her husband. “Easy for him to say, right?”
