Red Lobster is continuing its partnership with legendary hype man Flavor Flav by offering his signature meal for a limited time.
Flavor Flav’s Faves, available starting on Monday, includes Maine Lobster Tail, Snow Crab Legs, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, and Bacon Mac & Cheese, plus choice of one side.
Red Lobster said the selection of Flav’s favorites is “an off-menu meal, so only those in-the-know can clock in for flavor time.” To order, fans can just ask their server for Flavor Flav’s Faves.
“As a long-time Red Lobster fan, I’m fired up to bring a little bit of my own flavor to fans with a meal featuring my seafood favorites,” Flavor Flav said in a statement. “You gotta get to Red Lobster and give it a try because this signature meal is hype, boy!”
Flav, 65, recently posted on social media that he “ordered the whole menu” in a bid to save the seafood chain after it recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Soon after, the restaurant chain teamed up with him to promote Crabfest, a fan-favorite event featuring an array of crab dishes starting at just $20.
“When you have someone like Flavor Flav who shows their love for a brand by ordering the entire menu, you know there is a lot more fun to be had,” said Sara Bittorf, Chief Experience Officer at Red Lobster. “Flavor Flav’s passion for Red Lobster is unmatched and we’re excited to bring our guests a flavor experience unlike any other.”
Along with Flavor Flav’s Faves, fans heading to Red Lobster this summer still have time to enjoy Crabfest, with new menu items including Creamy Crab Carbonara, Crab and Lobster Duo, and the Snow Crab and Crab-Topped Steak.
