Pink Floyd Set a Billboard Record
Pink Floyd initially started performing in 1965, but found much of their greatest success in the 1970s, with albums such as “Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall.” This photo from 1973 shows the band performing on an American tour immediately before the release of “Dark Side of the Moon.” That album then remained on the Billboard charts for an incredible 800 weeks.
