The little hooves of the foal were already sticking out, but Daisy was exhausted from the long labor. She didn’t have enough strength left to push on her own. So, Dr. Thompson put a special chain around the foal’s hooves to help Daisy. He watched her belly closely, and with every contraction, he gently pulled.
