Mrs. Johnson knew everything there was to know about horses, and even she was surprised at Tilly’s reasoning. She knew that a rare foal could be worth a lot of money, but because it was her horse that gave birth, she would be the rightful owner of the animal. Surely Tilly should have thought this through…
