Daisy and her foal made a full recovery. Mrs. Johnson named the foal, Dorothy, meaning God’s gift, in Greek. And she would sometimes even let Rocky graze with them in the meadow. Mrs. Johnson never sold Daisy or Dorothy, but she did have some other plans for Daisy’s future…
