Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Husband Fuels Pregnancy Rumors With Instagram Post

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s husband Ryan Anderson is fueling pregnancy rumors on social media.

Anderson posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday that showed his arm wrapped around Blanchard’s belly.

“Me and my little family cuddling together,” he captioned the photo. Blanchard did not appear to reply to the post, and has not publicly confirmed a pregnancy.

Blanchard, 32, was released on parole from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri in December after serving eight years of a 10-year sentence for her role in plotting the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.

Blanchard’s defense attorneys argued that she was a victim of abuse, and that her mother had Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Her mother subjected her to unnecessary medical treatments, including surgeries, in order to gain attention, sympathy and donations.

Blanchard was forced to pretend she required a wheelchair, among other things, and eventually rebelled, enlisting her then-boyfriend Nick Godejohn to kill her mother. Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison.

In 2022, while still incarcerated, Blanchard married Anderson, a 37-year-old teacher in Louisiana. He picked her up from prison.

Further fueling pregnancy rumors, photos have been circulating on social media showing the pair visiting a medical facility in Lake Charles, La.

Since gaining her freedom, Blanchard appeared in the Lifetime documentary “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.” Last month, she released an ebook about her experience through Penguin Random House titled “Released: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom.”
